Students often wonder if they will lose weight doing yoga. This depends a lot on the type of yoga you do, how often you do it, and your other lifestyle choices, such as eating well. If yoga is part of your overall plan to improve your health, you can certainly count on feeling better, building long, toned muscles, and yes, even shedding a few pounds. Though no one yoga pose will help you lose weight, but if you are doing a lot of Chaturangas in a session, you are probably working pretty hard.
