Yoga Guru Bikram Choudhury is back in the news. The LA Times recently reported that criminal safety violations were filed against Choudhury due to overcrowding and insufficient exits at his LA yoga headquarters. In addition, a USA Today story describes how the nation of India is attempting to "thwart anyone who tries to profit from the nation's so-called 'traditional knowledge' " as a direct reaction to Choudhury's successful bid to copyright his style of yoga.
