Adidas recently announced their Stella McCartney-designed line of athletic wear will include yoga gear for Spring 2007. If McCartney's previous Adidas clothing is any indicator, it looks to be both stylish and functional. Look for it in Adidas stores in February, 2007 (and hopefully online soon after).

That is all well and good, but if yoga practice really has anything to do with the spiritual health (as well as physical) that has been such a fundamental part of it for thousands of years- then we might consider the spiritual harm that we are doing to ourselves and others when we buy sweatshop made products (like those that Adidas is famous for.) Just do a search for “Adidas sweatshops” and you will find a ton of information about them as well as other athletic wear companies.
You have a good point. There is tons of stylish yoga wear being designed by more socially responsible companies, which would probably be a better choice.
