Prasarita Padottanasana

I've gotten some requests for a less intense hamstring stretch, and Prasarita Padottanasana is my all-time favorite. You can take blocks under your hands if they don't reach the floor. If your head does happen to reach the floor, it's super fun to try to come up into the tripod variation of Headstand. Your arms stay bent with the hands flat on the floor as shown here. You can bring the knees onto your uppers arms before raising them up, or try bringing them straight off the floor, keeping the wide straddle at first and slowing bringing them together over your head. Come back down the same way.
