One-Legged King Pigeon Pose - Eka Pada Rajakapotasana is the Pose of the Week

Sunday August 12, 2007
What a lovely pose full Pigeon is. As I mentioned recently, I like to take classes at local studios when I travel. Well, this paid off on my last trip. I took a really nice class, and after lots of warm-up backbending, I got pretty dang close to my first full pigeon. It's so rewarding to get a new perspective on your practice in this way; even if you aren't traveling, try a new studio or teacher just for fun. What seemed impossible just might be possible after all.
