I actually go to both a studio and a gym. However, I much prefer the studio. Mainly because of the ambiance and extra attention from the instructor. I only go to the gym because of the affordability (it allows me to practice an extra two days per week for only $24 a month!) and I know and trust the teacher. I definitely hate the bright lights and loud music vibrating from the main workout floor.
