Here's the classic problem with standing big toe pose: You're balancing, you've got ahold of your toe, your leg is straight, all good, right? Well, yes, but only if you can do all that with the spine straight and tall, your arm firm in the shoulder socket, and shoulder blades sliding down the back. So don't sacrifice the integrity of your spine just to get your leg straight. It's better to keep the leg slightly bent or use a strap around your foot.Comments
