Lizard pose takes the typical runner's lunge to a new place. Bringing the elbows to the floor inside the bent knee gives the groin and hip an extra deep stretch. But be careful- it's tempting to overstretch in an attempt to get the forearms flat on the floor. If it's not there for you today, use a block under the forearms and leave your self something to work towards.
