This October marks the 25th anniversary of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and many socially conscience companies are marking the occasion by making donations to breast cancer research and support organizations. Here are some ways for yogis to get your pink on:
Jade Yoga, maker of the natural rubber Harmony II yoga mat, is donating $5.00 from every pink mat sold to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
Kleen Kanteen, purveyor of excellent BPA-free, stainless steel water bottles, will donate $4.00 from the sale of pink bottles to the Breast Cancer Fund.
Yogitoes offers a pink version of their Skidless mat towel, with proceeds benefitting the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. The pink towel is currently out of stock on the Yogitoes website but is still available elsewhere on the web.
