Ear Pressure Pose - Karnapidasana Is the Yoga Pose of the Week

Sunday October 25, 2009

I've never heard karnapidasana called spider pose, but according to the all-knowing internet, it is (trick? or treat?), so we'll go with that since Halloween is this week. Try it as part of this invigorating sequence of inversions.

I’m looking for a yoga DVD that’s like being in class; one that flows. There are no laps of time between poses while she/he sits and explains what’s coming up next. One that after awhile you don’t even have to watch the DVD; you can actually follow along by listening. Do you know of one?
Thanks, Diane

Diane,
I use the Baron Baptiste series. They are just like being in a class AND you can skip a series if you want or need to. I have a couple DVD’s as well as an audio CD and I really enjoy them all! Hope this helps.

My favorite of all time is Brian Kest’s Power Yoga. The DVD is broken into 3 workouts depending on your level of experience.
