Savasana Tips

Having done many, many savasanas in my time, here are my tips for making final relaxation as relaxing as possible:

  • Take out your ponytail or any other hair control device. It always feels great to release your hair.
  • Cover yourself with a blanket if it's chilly at all. Nothing makes you tense like being cold.
  • When coming out, you are often instructed to wiggle your fingers and toes. My favorite instruction is to move the tongue in your mouth. It really makes you aware of coming back to your body.
