By popular demand and just in time for the Tour de France, I offer you these yoga stretches for cyclists. This short series of yoga poses is designed for the recreational cyclist and intermediate yogi. These ten poses will stretch the calves, quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, hips, and shoulders, the major muscle groups that are often tight after cycling.

(1) Raina :

In cycling lower limbs are mainly used so for better achievement in game flexible leg muscle, free hip, knee joints, concentrated mind are needed. As in the game only lower part of body works more hence there is a risk of asymmetry in both upper and lower part of body. These are two main point to consider while suggesting any fitness program to cyclist. Yoga is the best approach to gain these as yoga works very gently on the legs muscles, it makes them flexible with out any injury. Yoga develops the body in a holistic way with a balanced manner.
