Flying crow has reared its head in the last three classes I've taken, which is more than enough to earn it a place as the pose of the week. Though this pose looks precarious, it's really all about stacking one body part on top of the next until you achieve lift-off. Pigeon is essential preparation since you have to be able to get that firm grip on your upper arm with the opposite foot, and crow will teach you how to manage your center of gravity in almost all other arm balances.
