Yoga and the Flu

The flu is making its ghastly rounds with particular virulence this year. Can yoga help you avoid getting sick? Though yoga is often cited for its ability to boost the immune-system, the subject hasn't been adequately researched to be able to make an absolute claim one way or the other. There is anecdotal evidence, however, that suggests the ability of yoga to reduce stress and improve well-being could help you avoid getting sick. So go on out to your yoga classes, as long as you are in good health and take the proper hygienic precautions.
