Classifying Poses by Level of Difficulty

It's hard to talk about yoga poses in terms of beginner, intermediate or advanced poses. Bodies vary so much that someone who just started yoga might be able to do poses that a long-time practitioner has worked years to achieve. That doesn't mean than the new student is more advanced than the old one, it just means that they will be on different paths. Nonetheless, I have attempted to classify the poses on this site by difficulty, mostly in the interest of preparing students for what they might encounter in yoga classes. Read more...
